I’m predominately an audio editor and writer - the two go hand in hand. But I also do other editing and make things for other platforms. I'm passionate about making cool stuff with whatever technology it takes!

Shows I’ve Worked On
Audio
Audio is my happy place. I listen for the heart of a conversation, then shape the cut so the story flows and the details support it. That can mean tightening interviews, cleaning distractions, selecting music, or building atmosphere that helps a moment land.
My background includes daily breakfast radio, narrative and documentary podcasts, branded series, and regional news shows. Being on the mic taught me what a host is feeling in the chair, which makes me a better collaborator in the edit. The goal is simple: make it sound effortless for the listener.

Video
I have been editing video for years for various long and short form projects. I have worked on vodcasts, explainers, short form social media pieces, and YouTube content. I primarily use Premiere Pro and After Effects.
I can handle a tidy workflow, brand elements, captions and delivery for the major platforms. I can also handle complex motion, fancy transitions and of course any and all sound effects as part of any video.

Writing
Writing sits under everything I do. It's the first medium I ever did as a media professional and it will probably be the last one day. I script for audio, edit for clarity, and write features for print and digital. My main work is currently for The Report, a hard-copy magazine which goes to more than 80,000 readers each month.
Whether it's a host intro, show notes, or a long read, I can create clean structure, the right tone, and words that carry the idea without getting in the way.
Web & Interactive
I like making things that are fun and interesting, plus I am also a geek, so coding has always been a passion. I have built small tools, quizzes, lyric games, and microsites with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Swiftle is a favourite, and there are more on my Projects page.
