About Me

I work full-time as a Specialist Media Officer in Adelaide, with a background spanning journalism, audio production, and communications. While I work across media formats, audio is my specialty - from editing longform interviews and creating openers to building soundscapes and making podcasts shine. Most content works best across multiple platforms, so whether it’s audio, writing, or something for the web, I know how to get it right.

I’ve edited podcasts for government, broadcasters, and independent creators, and have previously worked as a journalist, radio announcer and audio producer. The common thread? I like making cool, interesting things that people want to listen to, read, or use.

I studied law and media at the University of Adelaide, later adding computer science at QUT Online and a year at the software engineering boot camp 42 Adelaide. Along the way, I’ve produced award-winning audio, written feature articles, built websites, and contributed to print and digital publications. If you’ve got an exciting project you think I could be part of - I’m in.

From Mic to Edit

Being a former announcer has made me a better editor because I know exactly what it feels like to sit in front of a mic, work through nerves, and hit the right beats under pressure. That perspective helps me connect with hosts, understand their performance, and shape an edit that makes them sound their best.

As a former announcer, I’ve hosted radio segments, MC’d events, and worked alongside guests in live, unscripted settings. I’ve built promos, openers, and sweepers, and conducted interviews and voice-over sessions, all while adapting on the fly. That hands-on experience means I can recognise when a pause is intentional, when a stumble needs smoothing out, and when a moment is too good to cut.

These instincts now guide my work in podcast production. Whether I’m cleaning up an interview, pacing a narrative, or adding creative sound design, I approach each project with a performer’s ear and an editor’s eye - aiming for clarity, flow, and a final product that feels natural while sounding polished.
